Ben Rautenbach was born and raised on a farm in Zululand, where hunting was second nature to him. After university he took a year’s break in Europe. When he returned he decided to go back to what he loved most and started his hunting career as an apprentice PH in Tanzania.

After a few seasons in Tanzania he returned to South Africa where he began hunting full time. He has guided in Tanzania, Namibia, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Mozambique.
