June, July and August are winter months in South Africa. Both May and September can be cold as well. Typically, you can expect light frost in the mornings warming up to the mid 60’s during mid- day. At our Stormberg area we do receive snow during this time so it is important to come prepared. This is our dry season and although we do not expect any rain there may be light showers later in August.
